Minister distributes Rs 6 lakh among IAY beneficiaries; Announces ambulance, Rs 27 lakh out of CDF for dev works

Reiterating government’s commitment to provide best possible basic amenities to people especially in far-flung areas, Minister of State for PHE, Forest, Animal Husbandry and Irrigation & Flood Control, Abdul Majeed Padder Sunday said fulfilling public aspirations and addressing their problems is priority of the present coalition government.The Minister said this while addressing a series of public meetings at various places during his tour to D K Marg, Humpathri, Nagam, Manzgam, Chawgalpora, Bathpora, Yaroo and other areas of Noorabad constituency in Kulgam district.On the occasion, the Minister distributed cheques amounting Rs 5 lakh among 32 families of Danev Kandimarg for construction of houses under IAY.

Mr. Paddar announced Rs 10 lakh from his CDF for construction of protection bund near Bushi Nalla, besides Rs 2 lakh for construction of toilet block for Jamia Masjid Danew Kandimarg. He also announced providing an ambulance for Primary Health Centre Nagam so that patients and staff are benefitted.At Manzgam block, the Minister dedicated 100 KV power transformer for Chowgalpora village which was long pending demand of the locals. He announced Rs 10 lakh for construction of protection bund at Bat kol near government high school. He also distributed IAY cheques worth Rs 90 thousand among 6 beneficiaries of the village. He directing for construction of Gumband of Hazratbal Ziyarat at Yaroo village before Eid-i-Milad.At Batpora, Mr. Paddar announces Rs 5 lakh for construction of protection bund on Bohari Nallah to prevent the flash waters into nearby villages.
