Zaffer asks Indo-Pak to resolve Kashmir dispute for peaceful Asia

Pays tributes to martyred Jamm’at leader

Senior Pro-freedom leader and Jammu Kashmir Salvation Movement Chairman Zaffer Akbar Bhat who is under continuous house detention on Friday urged Indo-Pak countries to resolve Kashmir dispute for ensuring peace in Asia.“Resolution of Kashmir issue according to aspirations and wishes of Kashmiris can only ensure peace and stability in Asia on which the threat of nuclear war is harrowing due to Kashmir conflict,” Zaffer Akbar Bhat said in a to KNS.He said that the lingering Kashmir dispute is threat to peace in Asia and world community has accepted it, so if India and Pakistan wants to serve the humanity then they must start the process for its resolution without any delay.

Zaffer said that keeping Kashmir dispute in cold store can have serious complications over the region and can push both the countries for a ‘nuclear war’.He slammed mainstream politicians for ranking up Kashmir issue when they lose the chair. “When Omar Abdullah was ruling the state, Mehbooba Mufti used to rank up Kashmir dispute, human rights violations, killings and other issues related with the core issue of Kashmir conflict but when she managed to occupy the seat she was forget everything but now surprisingly Omar Abdullah has started copying Mehbooba and is shedding crocodile tears of the killing of innocents,” Zaffer said.

He said that mainstream politicians who helping India to strength its illegal occupation has no right to talk about Kashmir issue particularly on human rights violations as they are themselves the perpetrators of rights violations.Zaffer Akbar Bhat also paid glowing tributes to martyred Jamm’at Islami district President Budgam Mohd Ismail Bhat on his martyrdom anniversary. Zaffer said that martyr Ismail Zaffar Akbar Bhat was highly qualified educationist and lawyer who was martyred by forces in custody. He said that sacrifices of our intellectuals, lawyers, educationists, and brave youths will not be allowed to go waste at any cost.

Meanwhile, party leaders held a protest demonstration against the continued detention of Pro-freedom leaders and innocent youths at Batapora Dargah in Srinagar.People participated in the protest demonstration and raised pro-Islam and Pro-freedom slogans. Protesters demanded unconditional release of detained pro-freedom leaders and Innocent youths.

Leaders said that a well planned strategy, puppet government is choking the political space of pro-freedom leaders and even is denying them the basic fundamental right-right to worship- by not allowing them to offer Friday prayers. (KNS)
