On the 98th Birth Anniversary of Former Prime Minister of India late Indira Gandhi, Jammu and Kashmir Pradesh Congress Committee held   a meeting of Senior Party Leaders, and workers at DK Pora, Anantnag today.The meeting was presided over by Former Minister and Senior Congress Leader Peerzada Mohd. Syed.Speaking on the Occasion Peerzada while paying glowing tributes to Former Prime Minister   recalled her achievements and contributions as Prime Minister and Congress President Peerzada termed her a great visionary and a greatest political leader of the Country, who sacrificed her life for the sake of integrity of the Nation, he said.People of the Country shall always remember Madam Gandhi for her leadership qualities and his vision about strengthening Nation and people. Madam Gandhi being a strong lady never compromised on integrity of the Nation, Peerzada Said.

Describing Indira Gandhi a visionary and a strong Lady, Peerzada said that Madam Indira Gandhi was, undoubtedly, one of the tallest political leaders of India. She was the first and only woman to be elected as the Prime Minister, who never compromised on her principles.  Indira Gandhi played a   pivotal role in making India as a strong Nation. She defeated the designs of those forces and factors harming integrity of the Country.On this occasion Peerzada castigated State Govt for being non serious about the Education Sector in the State. He said Coalition Govt led by PDP has miserably failed to boost Education Department, for the fact that   there are pending liabilities in the Department which the Govt has failed to clear.
