The Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) today said the failure of the Punjab Congress to corner the SAD as well as exposure of the Cong conspiracy to misuse the so called Sarbat Khalsa against the moderate Sikh leadership was getting the better of Punjab Congress president Partap Bajwa who was now behaving like a frustrated loser.“In your hurry to pick at crumbs, you have failed to gauge the fact that thousands of people who are attending the public functions being addressed by SAD president Sukhbir Singh Badal”, party mp and senior leader Prem Singh Chandumajra said here.

The Anandpur Sahib mp said Partap Bajwa, who had tried every trick in the trade to defame the SAD, was now hopping mad because the Cong conspiracy to weaken Sikh institutions as well as the SAD leadership by making common ground with people with a separatist agenda had been finally exposed. “Bajwa now finds himself in the company of Simranjit Singh Mann and other separatist leaders and this is the reason why he is losing his mind in frustration”, Chandumajra added.

The SAD leader said things would become even more crystal clear on November 23. “Contrary to your day dreams, thousands and thousands of people will congregate at the Sadbhavana rally in Bathinda to express solidarity with the Sikh institutions, including the SAD, and express their resolute will not to allow anyone to tamper with them. We can understand this is giving you sleepless nights”.The senior leader said the political will of the SAD-BJP government to take radical elements head on as well as ensure normalcy was also a source of frustration for the PCC chief who had hoped that the spark lit by his party men would take the shape of a full-fledged conflagration. He also congratulated Punjabis on seeing through the Congress game plan and siding with the government in its efforts to ensure complete peace and communal harmony in the State.
