In Jammu also, Ministers go missing, people annoyed

Though ministers remained unavailable for the people in civil secretariat Srinagar, but now Jammu civil secretariat also wears a deserted look as there is hardly any minister present in his office.According to the Jammu KNS correspondent the Civil Secretariat wears a deserted look from the past few days and on Monday hardly a minister was present in the office.On Monday when this KNS correspondent visited civil secretariat he hardly found any minister attending his office.Even if the PDP and BJP ministers are in the capital town Jammu they hardly attend their offices. “Majority among the ministers stay out of their offices on one pretext or the other. 

The visitors who come from far off places for resolving their problems have to wait hours together outside the offices of ministers but leave disappointed in the evening to their respective places,” one of the official of the secretariat told KNS on condition of anonymity.He said that there are always long queues of people, seeking entry into the secretariat. “Even a couple of ministers who come here sit in their retiring rooms for a couple of hours and retreat to their cozy homes. Even if a minister comes to his offices, he immediately summons any senior officer and sits with him in the retiring room for hours without caring for those who come from far off  places to see them" Mohammad Akbar of  Khati Talab told KNS.When some ministers were contacted by KNS to know the reason of their absence from the secretariat they said they are in the field for on-spot inspection of the development works.
