MLA Ganderbal calls on Governor

Mr. Ishfaq Ahmad Sheikh, MLA Ganderbal, called on Governor N.N Vohra, here at the Raj Bhavan today.Mr. Sheikh briefed the Governor about the crisis created and the hardships being faced by people of his constituency on account of long power cuts. He requested the Governor’s urgent intervention for adequate provision being incorporated in the PM’s package for widening of the Zakoora-Beehama-Nagbal-Wayil road which carries heavy traffic of pilgrims and tourists to Sonamarg and beyond. He also petitioned against there being any delay in the implementation of the already approved New Ganderbal Power House (93 MW).The Governor urged the Legislator to continue sustained efforts for promoting the development and the welfare of people of his area.
