Yawar Dillawar Mir releases funds for LED lights

MLA Rafiabad, Yawar Dillawar Mir today asked the Municipal Committee Baramulla to install 26 modern LED lights at various locations.Interacting with deputation from Janbazpora in presence of the officers of Municipal Committee Baramulla here today, he stressed on improving street lighting in Janbazpora and said funds for this purpose will be provided out of his Constituency Development Fund (CDF).Mir said LED lights will be installed in other towns and villages of the constituency in a phased manner to improve street lighting for convenience of the people. MLA said work on construction of surface drains in the Janbazpora shall be executed on war-footing basis for which DPR at an estimated cost of Rs 65 lakh has been proposed by the Municipal Committee, Baramulla.

He said the Town Drainage department will be asked to formulate a comprehensive and integrated plan for construction of the underground drainage system in the town. He asked Municipal Committee to install Dust Bins and Wastage containers at different locations in the town for ensuring cleanliness and hygiene in the area. MLA asked the concerned agencies to conduct a detailed survey of the town for this purpose.On the occasion Chief Executive Officer, Municipal Committee, Baramulla  informed that a DPR has been formulated to improve civic and sanitation facilities in the District Baramulla under Swach Bharat Abhiyan.
