Thousands of Nirankari devotees, thronged the Satsang Bhawan at Chembur to get a glimpse of their beloved Kanta Mataji who breathed her last on 2nd November, 2015.At 9.45am, the body was kept in the glass casket for Antim Darshan in the Parking lot of the Satsang building in the premises of the Sant Nirankari Satsang Bhawan, at Chembur, Mumbai yesterday 4th Nov 2015.  Since then, there has been a continuous stream of devotees from all over Mumbai, Navi Mumbai, Thane, Ulhasnagar and also from other parts of Maharashtra.The Antim Darshan continued till 3.45pm.Pujya Mata SawinderJi, gracious spouse of Nirankari Baba Hardev Singh Ji Maharaj, Rev.Mohini Ahuja Ji (sister of Nirankari Baba) were present at the funeral along with Senior office bearers of Sant Nirankari Mandal namely Rev.J.R.D.Satyarthi, Pradhan, Rev. V D Nagpal, General Secretary and Rev.Jagatji an ardent devotee. Zonal In-charges of Pune, Nasik, Chiplun, Satara, Kolhapur, Aurangabad, Ahmednagar, Ulhasnagar and Surat were also present. Shri Rahul Shevaleji MP of the Chembur area was also present to offer his respects to the Beloved Kanta MataJi.

After all the devotees had, had the last glimpse, Pujya Mataji wrapped the mortal body with a shawl and placed a flower wreath as a mark of respect. She was followed by Rev MohiniAhuja Ji, Rev Satyarth Ji , Rev Nagpal Ji as also both daughters of Mata Kanta Ji namely Rekha Ji and Sarita Ji. The body was placed on a raised platform on the flower-bedecked trailer and was taken in half km long procession (last-journey) to the Charai Hindu Crematorium, Chembur, led by a band followed by devotees in a very disciplined and orderly manner as directed by the traffic police to avoid any traffic congestion. 

At the crematorium, amidst prayers to the Formless Nirankar to bless the departed soul and to give the family courage to bear with the irreparable loss, the mortal remains were confined to the Electric current.To conclude the ceremonies, a condolence meet in form a Spiritual Congregation (satsang) was held on 5th Nov 2015 between 3 to 5 pm, in the Holy presence of Rev J R D SatyarthiJi, Pradhan of the Sant Nirankari Mandal to pay tributes and homage to Kanta Mata ji and take inspiration from her life and live the values she lived for.
