Shemrock School organized Inter school Rangoli making Competition, Sacred Souls school won first postion

Shemrock School sector-69 organised Inter School rangoli making competition at its campus .As many as 21 schools of tricity participated in the competition. The competition was divided into two categories. In cat A students of  8th, 9th & 10th participated whereas in category B students of 11th and 12th competed . The participants etched out awe- inspiring creative designs. Students exhibited their flair in the art by making beautiful Rangoli designs using geometric shapes, deity impressions and floral motifs. Rangoli colours, flower petals and diyas were used to decorate the Rangolis. The judging criteria were based on symmetry, colour combination, creativity and the neatness of the Rangoli patterns. It was very difficult for the judges to choose the best rangoli designs of the participants.

In category  A first prize was won by   Vanshita Sharma and Parmeet Kaur of Sacred Souls School  where as second prize bagged by Seerat Dhanoa and Charul Mudgal of Shemrock Sr. Sec. School,  third prize winners were Tamanna and Parneet Kaur of Shivalik School. In category B first prize won by Deepakshi Aggarwal and Mehul of Delhi Public School.Second prize  winners were   Preeti Garg and Nidhi Pandey of Shishu Niketan Public School and third prize was won by Neelkhanth Sharma and Nancy Bhatia of The British School .Consolation  prize was given to Shriya Sharma and Husanpreet Kaur, Manav Mangal Smart School.Director Education Air Commodore (Rtd.) Shemrock School S K Sharma encouraged the students for putting in efforts to keep this cultural and traditional art form alive. According to him it was an endeavour to implement holistic training methodologies for overall development of the students.
