Chander Prakash Ganga lays foundation of animal husbandry hospital

Minister for Industries and Commerce, Chander Prakash Ganga today laid foundation stone of an animal husbandry hospital which has been completed within stipulated time, at an estimated cost of Rs 50.47 Lakh at Ramgarh.After laying the foundation stone, the Minister said that the Government is committed to provide all basic amenities to the people, across the State. He said that to maintain high milk production it is important to provide proper healthcare facilities to the cattle. He said the animal husbandry hospital would cater to needs of residents in the area by providing proper healthcare facilities for their cattle.Ganga directed the concerned officers to ensure quality work and expeditious execution of construction work of the said hospital.

The Minister further asked the officials to complete the ongoing construction work within the stipulated time.SDM Vijaypur, Rajnish Gupta, XEN PWD(R&B) Dinesh Rampal, Chief Animal Husbandry Officer, Samba Dr D B Singh, Tehsildar Ramgarh besides sarpanches and local residents were also present on the occasion.

Earlier, the Minister also chaired a meeting of officers of Rural Development Department and reviewed ongoing development projects in the area.During the meeting, the Minister was informed about various projects initiated by the department in the area which are nearing completion and shall be ready shortly. Status of Indira Awas Yojna (IAY) and MGNREGA was also discussed in the meeting.The Minister also directed the officers to prepare a plan for new projects to meet development related public issues. He directed the officers to ensure quality work of projects. He said Government has resolved to provide durable assets to people across the State.ACD Tilak Raj Thapa, BDOs of Vijaypur, Badi Brahmana and Ramgarh were also present in the meeting.
