In connection with 7th Mahrram ul Harram,  Majalis-e-Hussaini (RA) were held at Masjid Imam–i-Zamana Qamerwari and Khushipora-HMT today in which thousands of devotees from adjacent localities participated.Minister for Information Technology, Technical Education and Youth Services & Sports, Molvi Imran Raza Ansari who is also President J&K Shia Association, presided over the Majalis and threw light on life and teachings of Hazrat Imam Hussain (RA) and incidents of the Karbala.The Majalis started with recitation of the Holy Quran, followed by marsiya by renowned Zakirs.Later, processions of Alam-Sharief were taken out which were led by Molvi Imran Raza Ansari.The Majalis were organized under the aegis of Jammu and Kashmir Shia Association.
