Haryana has moved from commission to mission mode: Manohar Lal Khattar

Reiterating his government's commitment to root out corruption, Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar claimed on Tuesday the state had moved from the "commission mode" to the "mission mode" on all fronts.Listing the achievements of his government which completes one year in office on October 26, Khattar said that his government has implemented 52 schemes during the year, with an average one scheme every week, to directly benefit the people of the state.He said that state government had transferred cases of irregularities and scams to vigilance and Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) for investigation.

"These are irregularities in construction of Kaushalya Dam in Panchkula, Shamlat land scam in Panchkula, industrial plot allotment scam in Industrial Estate Panchkula, Pillar Box case, giving way to five star site to Pullman hotel in Gurgaon, MNREGA scam in Ambala, irregularities in HCS recruitment, irregularities in allotment of 8,012 square yard government land in NIT Faridabad, Raxil fungicide purchase scam and land scam in Manesar and two other villages namely Naurangpur and Lakhnola," he said.

Khattar said that the Justice (retd.) S.N. Dhingra Commission had been set up to investigate the cases of release of licenses in four villages adjoining Sector 83, Gurgaon, including the licence granted to company of Robert Vadra, son-in-law of Congress president Sonia Gandhi.He also asserted that his government had ensured all-round development of the state."It is the first government in the state to implement so many schemes in only one year and that also in its first year of tenure," Khattar said.He said that 150 e-services and several other schemes have been launched by the government.
