VC, CUJ calls on Governor

Prof. Ashok Aima, Vice-Chancellor, Central University of Jammu, called on Governor N.N Vohra, Chancellor of the University, here at the Raj Bhavan today.Prof. Aima briefed the Chancellor about the infrastructure development of the campus at Bagla village, Raya Suchani, and about the status of the ongoing teaching and research programmes in the University. He also informed the Governor about the recruitment of faculty and non-teaching staff, intake of students, and about several administrative issues related to the University. The Governor emphasised the need to ensure the establishment of essential facilities in the University within given time frames and continuing hard work for achieving high standards in teaching, research and extra-curricular activities.
