Celebrating Navrathri festival with a difference, Sanjay Tandon planted Saplings of Hanuman phal (scientific name- Graviola) that is believed to have anti cancer properties; both curative as well as preventive in Village Raipur Kalan, in presence of RamvirBhatti, Chairman Market Committee, Shangara Singh, Chairman PanchayatSamiti, Bhadur Singh, Member ZilaParishad, Rajvinder Singh, Panch and residents of Raipur Kalan.This is a flowering, evergreen tree native to tropical regions of the world. It bears a long, prickly green fruit which can kill cancer up to 10,000 times more effectively than strong chemotherapy drugs, without the side effects. It is believed by the natives that Graviola contains cytotoxic compounds that destroy cancer cells with ‘lethal precision’ while leaving healthy cells unharmed.
