Tosamaidan-Dodhpathri to be developed as integrated tourism circuit : Ghulam Nabi Lone Hanjura

Minister for Agriculture, Ghulam Nabi Lone Hanjura on behalf of Tourism Minister informed the House that Tosamaidan will be integrated with Tourism Development Authority Dodhpathri and developed as an integrated tourist circuit. He said the area has good potential for tourism development and is in high focus of Tourism Department to develop and project it as a star destination.Replying to a question by Mr. Omar Abdullah in Legislative Assembly here today, the Minister said that holistic development of the area would be taken up to make it a hub of tourism activity.The Minister further said Tosamaidan would be developed as a Golfing and Skiing destination adding that in this regard DPR would be prepared soon. He said the government is committed to ensure safe and honorable livelihood rights to the people, who are dependent on Tosamaidan by virtue of tradition and culture.  Legislators, Hakeem Mohammad Yasin, Sheikh Ashfaq Jabbar and Mr. Aijaz Ahmed Khan raised supplementaries to the main question.
