DDC chairs DLRC, RSETI meets at Ramban

District Development Commissioner Ramban, Bashir Ahmed Dar, chaired District Level Review Committee (DLRC) meeting of officers of banking and civil departments to discuss the achievements of banking sector in deposits and advances at conference hall today. The meeting was attended by, ACD, Romin Sheikh,  Assisstant General Manager, RBI, R.K. Sharma, Lead District Manager, S.K. Khosla, , DDM- NABARD, Chief Planning Officer, Parshotam Kumar, GM DIC, DSWO, ADs, DSHO and  others bankers and officers of line department. It was informed in the meeting that up to June 2015, an amount of 824.06 crore has been recorded in the deposit and 237.79 crore in the advance sector and the CD Ratio has increased from 26 percent  to 29 percent.

Thread bare discussions was held on the implementation of centrally sponsored schemes under which loans are provided to the beneficiaries for operating income generating units. It was elucidated in the meeting by officers that many cases have been kept pending by the various bank branches. DDC directed the bankers to submit a detailed report of pending cases with suitable reasons and return other cases to the concerned departments. He emphasised on bankers for maximum achievements at the close of financial year. DDC also asked the bankers to explore the possibilities of opening new bank branches and ATMs in the rural areas by taking up the matter with high authorities.

Lead District Manager Ramban informed that the students be made aware for educational loans well in time enable them seeking admission in various professional courses in or outside the state.Meanwhile, a meeting to overhaul the functioning of Rural Self Employment Training Institute (RSET) at Ramban was also held wherein suggestions from different departments for opening new small scale units were welcomed. Further it was informed that 73 beneficiaries have been trained in different entrepreneur skills in RSETI Ramban.  DDC directed the ADC Ramban to identify the land for the establishment of RSETI.
