Sanitation drive launched at Patnitop

A sanitation drive on the pattern of Swachh Bharat Abhiyan was launched today at Patnitop.During this week long Cleanliness Drive School Children, all Stake Holders such as Hoteliers, Shop Keepers, Locals, officers and officials of the Patnitop Development Authority will participate to make the drive successful in order to obtain optimum results.Chief Executive Officer, Patnitop Development Authority, Rakesh Srangal stressed upon the cleanliness of the Meadows, Roads, Drains and Forest areas. The Patnitop Hoteliers were also requested to clean their respective Hotels and their adjacent areas. It was emphasized that such drives will only be result oriented if stake holders and locals equally participate and support the authority to make Patnitop garbage free tourist destination.The participants in the drive later collected the waste materials scattered in the meadows and paths which was later disposed of properly.
