Mian Altaf for compensation to Kangan fire victims, up gradation of F&E service station Kangan

National conference senior leader and MLA Kangan, Mian Altaf Ahmad has demanded immediate compensation to the fire victims of Kangan.In a statement to KNS, Mian Altaf said that four days has passed since four houses were completely gutted in a fire incident in Kangan and two houses were damaged in Manigam and the fire victims are yet to be compensated.Altaf while expressing shock over these incidents impressed upon the government to provide them compensation as soon as possible.He demanded that a departmental enquiry should be initiated regarding the delay in fire fighting. Mian Altaf also urged that the fire service station in Kangan should be upgraded as it has to cater a large area. (KNS)
