Public grievance assessed at Ganderbal

DDC assures redressal on priority

In order to have on spot assessment of public grievances and their developmental needs, a meeting of senior citizens was held under the Chairmanship of District Development Commissioner, Ganderbal, Mr. Sarmad Hafeez here today. The meeting was organized by the Citizens Welfare Forum, Ganderbal during which the public representatives raised several problems with regard to road connectivity, education, encroachment, health care facilities, availability of ration, shifting of Central University Campus from Srinagar to Ganderbal, upgradation of transmission lines and various other issues of the district confronting them.The District Development Commissioner gave a patient hearing to the representatives and assured them that their genuine problems would be addressed on priority.Among others, President, Citizens Welfare Forum, Mr. G.M. Sofi and Dr. Khursheed were also present on the occasion.
