DDC stresses on implementing Corporate Social Responsibility Plan

In capacity of Commissioner Relief and Rehabilitation Plan, the District Development Commissioner, Kishtwar, Baseer Ahmed Khan today convened a meeting of management of Rattle Power Project along with the officers from Revenue, Health,  R&B, Social Welfare department and ITI Kishtwar.While discussing the targets under corporate social responsibility, the DDC asked the management of the Project to play their role in improving the basic amenities in the district along with proper rehabilitation plan. Mr Khan impressed upon the management to start the Skill Development Programme for the youth belonging to the 273 project effected families immediately. In this context he directed ADC and Tehsildar Kishtwar to verify the lists submitted by the management. For this programme, the services of existing ITI at Kishtwar can also be utilized besides sending the students to other training institutes.

Regarding the construction of a full-fledged Hospital at Drabshalla, the management was asked to identify land for it with the assistance of revenue authorities. The Project management will also procure two Critical Care Ambulances of the specifications given by CMO and Medical Superintendent Kishtwar.For the construction of Sports Stadium and Airport in Kishtwar, Mr Khan asked them to conduct  a survey  and submit a report so that work can be started on these prestigious projects. Mr Khan also asked the management to chalk out a  Afforestation programme for with the Forest Department and contribute in maintaining environmental balance in the egion.
