DDC for maintaining financial discipline in deptts

Reviewing the functioning of R&B, JKPCC, PMGSY and EM&RE Departments, DDC Kishtwar Baseer Ahmed Khan made it categorically clear to the officers that no work should be started without administrative approval and financial discipline has to be maintained at all costs. While seeking details from the concerned officials regarding the allocation and expenditure of allotted budget, the DDC enquired about all the bottlenecks being faces by the Department. He took the sector wise and pision wise details from R&B pisions of Kishtwar, Marwah and Chatroo and directed the officials to submit monthly progress report of the schemes under district as well as state sector. The various projects under NABARAD and CRF were also discussed in detail.

Khan directed the concerned officials to expedite the work on various roads and bridges and complete all the pending works within a fixed time frame. He stressed for clearing all the compensation claims for all the structures that are needed to be dismantle for the completion of the projects. He also asked them to ensure best quality of work in all projects and said that no compromise will be tolerated in this.The officers were asked to strictly adhere to the financial norms and not to exceed the allocation in any case. He said that physical achievement on the ground should match with the financial expenditure in all the projects and who so ever found guilty of any default will be punished strictly. He assured them that wherever forest clearances needed, the matter will be taken with the forest department at the appropriate level. He also sought the details of various motorable and foot bridges from JKPCC and R&B pisions of Kishtwar, Marwah and Chatroo. Regarding the constriction of Degree College Chatroo the ACR Kishtwar was directed to clear all the hiccups with the help of Police so that the college functions smoothly.The X EN EM&RE Kishtwar was asked to ensure timely installation and repair of transformers in all the areas.
