Continental College of Higher Studies, Jalvehra (Fatehgarh Sahib) celebrated its fresher’s party ‘Aagman-2015’ on Thursday. On this occasion the Executive Director Brig. (Dr.) J.K. Jha addressed and welcomed the new students for joining Continental Group of Institutes. Principal Tanveer Singh Gill motivated the students to work hard in future and bring laurels to the institute.The programme started with lamp-lighting and Sarasvati Vandana. There were many activities performed by the present students such as Bhangra, Giddha, solo songs and solo dances. Students also participated in games, modeling and dramatic acts. The students hosted the complete event with enthusiasm.College N.C.C. students were bestowed with certificates. On this occasion Ms. Chahneet Kaur (B.Sc.-FT) & Mr. Amrinder Singh (BBA) were chosen as Ms. & Mr. Personality and Ms. Anjali Mangi (B.Com) & Mr. Taranjeet Singh (B.Com) were announced as Ms. & Mr. Fresher respectively. The celebration ended on a high note with the announcement of modeling results and a sumptuous lunch.
