Several Developmental works inaugurated

Harsh Dev Singh NPP Chairman and MLA Ramnagar today urged upon the District Administration Udhampur to argument the pace of development works in the remote and far flung areas and to ensure their time bound completion before these areas experience winter snowfall. He was conducting a tour of remote and far off areas of Ramnagar constituency including Katwalat, Damak, Majua, Rassian, Chowki and Kanah villages to take stock of development works. He was accompanied by the officers of PWD, PHE, Education, M&RE, Rural Development, I&FC, Forests, Health besides others.Addressing the gatherings at various places, Mr. Harsh Dev Singh re-iterated his resolve to ensure harmonious and balanced development of all blocks and villages of his constituency. He said that Ramnagar was already being developed as a model constituency and that no efforts would be spared to ensure provision of all basic amenities in various villages of his constituency. He said that Ramnagar had witnessed unparalleled and unexampled phase of development during the last couple of years which was the topic of discussion in all foras including the Assembly. He assured the public to carry forward the agenda of development with renewed zeal and enthusiasm.

On the occasion,Harsh Dev Singh inaugurated the newly constructed Dispensary constructed in Katwalat at a cost of Rs. 62 lacs. He inaugurated the compound wall of High School Katwalat and announced construction of five additional rooms for the said school. At Rassian, he laid the foundation stone of Motorable Bridge over Damak Nallah and assured its completion during the current financial year. He also inaugurated the HSS Chowki laboratory building constructed at a cost of Rs. 15 lacs.Mr. Singh announced initiation of steps to ensure early commencement of work on Sulan-Katwalat road which had been held up due to court orders. He called upon the Deptt. to expedite work on Majalta-Rassian road that would provide connectivity to more than 5,000 souls inhabiting the remote corners of Rassian village on its completion. He further announced construction of additional accommodation for newly upgraded middle schools namely MS Chigli Katwalat and MS Wan Bhuji. He announced construction of three water tanks in Katwalat, and a 5,000 gallon reservoir in Chowki Jandror. At Chowki HSS, he announced construction of Sanitation Units and a further sum of Rs. 15 lacs for construction of Building for MS Neeli. He also announced construction of Play Ground for Middle School Chigli Rassian besides others.Prominent among those who addressed the gatherings included Sh. Romesh Singh Sarpanch, Sh.
