Dr. Farooq dedicates tennis, basketball court to students of SP College

Union Minister for New and Renewable Energy, Dr. Farooq Abdullah dedicated the tennis and basket ball court to the students of S.P. College today, for which the Union Minister provided funds out of his Parliament Area Development Fund. On this occasion, while interacting with students and teachers said that Rs. 64 lakh were spent on filling of 100 kannals of land of play field of the college. He advised the students to take part in various sports activities besides their academics so that they can compete not only at state but also international level in extracurricular activities.Minister for Higher Education, M.A. Lone, MLA Nasir Aslam Wani, Deputy Commissioner Srinagar, Farooq Ahmad Shah, Principal S.P. College and other officers were present on the occasion.
