Bhalla, Kamal lays foundations stone of Community Centres in Rainawari, Soura

Rs. 3.20 Cr. To be expended on the twin projects

The Minister for Housing and Horticulture, Raman Bhalla and MLA Hazratbal, Dr. Mustafa Kamal laid foundation stone of Community Centres at Gurpora Khushki, Rainawari and Malik Sahib, Soura jointly here today. These public facilities are coming up at a cost of Rs. 3.20 crore and on completion would provided much need space to the locals for observing their social functions.The Minister was accompanied by Managing Director, J&K Housing Board and concerned officers.Addressing the gatherings on the occasion, the Minister highlighted the achievements registered by the present coalition government during last 5 years with the liberal funding of UPA Government.The Minister said that coalition Government has ensured the inclusive and equitable development of all the three regions of the State.The MLA Hazratbal Constituency, Dr. Mustafa Kamal also addressed the gathering. He said that Omar led Government has ushered the State in an era of development and progress. He said that present Government made immense progress by way of establishing scores of educational institutions, upgrading existing ones, establishing universities and university campuses across the State. He said that Government is creating world class sports infrastructure in the State.

Dr. Kamal said that Government has prioritized health sector and a number of health institutions have been created in every nook and corner of the State. He said that seven Community Halls have been constructed during the last five years of coalition government in the various areas of Hazratbal Constituency including Panchkarwari, Mala Bagh, General Bagh Undrooni Kathidarwaza, Gurpora Khushki, Rainawari, Illahi Bagh and Malik Sahib Soura.Dr. Kamal said that our performance speaks louder than words. He urged the youth to come forward and avail benefits of various state and central schemes launched for unemployed youth in the State.
