Under Mudra Scheme, One Can Avail Of Loan Without Any Third Party Gaurantee

Union Minister of State for Social Justice and Empowerment in India, Mr Vijay Sampla today said that it was only due to the efforts of Prime Minister Mr Narendra Modi that several schemes have been started for the welfare of the downtrodden and weaker sections of the society. He said this while formally launching Micro Units Development and Refinance Agency (MUDRA) scheme for Ludhiana district at Guru Nanak Dev Bhawan, here today.While addressing the gathering, Mr Vijay Sampla informed that under the MUDRA scheme, any person above 18 years of age is eligible for loan between Rs 50,000 to Rs 10 lakh without any collateral security, without any third party guarantee, without any processing fee and for all kinds of business activity other than agriculture i.e. Manufacturing, service sector and retail trade etc.He said that Prime Minister Mr Narendra Modi has started 30 different schemes in last 15 months of his tenure and all of these schemes are running successfully. 

He said that under the MUDRA scheme, one can get 'Shishu' loan up to Rs 50,000, 'Kishore' loan for loan between Rs 50,000 to Rs 5 lakh and 'Tarun' loan between Rs 5 lakh to Rs 10 lakh. Mr Sampla said that the Mudra scheme has been started keeping in mind the venders and small time shopkeepers.He urged the bank officials and city residents to educate the masses about the benefits of this scheme. He said that one is eligible for loan under the MUDRA scheme without any third party guarantee and without any processing fee. He said that one can avail loan from all government sector banks under this scheme. Under this scheme, around 4,000 people have already availed loan in Ludhiana district.Prominent among those who addressed the gathering included Punjab Planning Commission vice chairman Prof Rajinder Bhandari, Deputy Commissioner Mr Rajat Agarwal, Lead Bank Manager Mr Manjit Singh Jaggi, ADC (D) Mrs Shena Aggarwal, besides others.BJP District President Mr Parveen Bansal and senior representatives from various banks were also present on the occasion.
