Flag In Ceremony Of National Integration Tour Of Farmers By 29 RR BN

National Integration Tour of different villages of North Kashmir was today concluded at Hyderbeigh Pattan during which the farmers visits different important places in India.A National Integration (NI) Tour was organised by Army Camp Hyderbeig under the aegis of Headquarters Kilo Force for 30 farmers from Pattan tehsil to Jalandhar, Hisar and Ajmer.  The tour aimed to provide  an insight into modern agricultural skills and techniques in vogue and also experience the culture and heritage of the northern states of the country .The tour was for a duration of 15 days scheduled from 05 Sep 2015 to 21 Sep 2015. 

During this tour the farmers visited the prestigious Choudhary Charan Singh Haryana Agricultural University (CCSHAU) and OP Jindal Gyan Kendra at Hisar.  They also visited various landmark monuments and places of national interest such as Ajmer Sharif,  City Palace, Hawa Mahal at Jaipur, Fatehpur Sikri, Taj Mahal, Red Fort and Sikandar Fort at Agra  and also attended the ceremony at Wagah Border. After the successful conduct of the tour it was flagged in at 29 RR, Widdipura, Pattan on 21st Sept 2015. Mr Gulam Mohidin Dar a resident of vill Dandora said that the tour was a very informative experience and the kind of exposure which the farmers got was par excellence. He also said that this initiative of the Army will go a long way in them adopting the latest agricultural technology and practices which in turn help increase their harvest.
