Poonch DC inspects pace of work on road projects

Asks executing agencies to use quality material in construction work

District Development Commissioner Poonch, Nisar Ahmed Wani today inspected pace of works on road projects in Marra area of Sub-Division Surankote.He directed PMGSY and R&B authorities to speed up the work and strictly adhere to  the specifications in the construction.The DDC, along with officers of PMGSY and R&B also interacted with the residents of village Marra.Wani directed the PMGSY and R&B departments to proactively follow the forest clearance and local issues, if any to ensure that the projects are completed well in time and people get the benefit.The DDC instructed the Executive Magistrate to extend full cooperation to the works departments to take the developmental process forward.This was second grievance redressal camp held by DDC in this area during last two months. The people of Panj Saraan area appreciated the response of the district  administration especially with regards to developmental issues.Several other issues of public importance were also brought to the notice of DDC who assured their early redressal.
