Governor stresses on promotion of organic farming

Managing Director HP State Agriculture Marketing Board Dr. H S Baweja called on the Governor Acharya Devvrat at Rajbhawan here today. He apprised the Governor about the activities of the Board and gave a presentation regarding organic production in the State.The Governor stressed upon promoting organic cultivation in the State and added that adequate steps should be taken for the same besides educating the people and farmers about the benefits of organic produce.Dr. Baweja apprised the Governor about the National Award of Excellence conferred upon the State for its marketing strategies.
