Ch. Zulfkar Ali for speedy completion of developmental works in Darhal

Minister for CAPD and Tribal Affairs Ch Zulfkar Ali Friday asked the executing agencies to redouble their efforts to complete various ongoing development projects at Darhal in District Rajouri.The Minister was speaking at a meeting to review the status of ongoing projects. He instructed officers to ensure completion of widening and upgradation of  Rajouri-darhal road in the stipulated time.The Minister directed the concerned to increase the pace of construction work at Budhal Degree College so that the building is completed on time.

Zulfkar asked officers to ensure completion of various ongoing works including Badhal to Naga Thup Ziarat Baji Shgafi Sahib, Rang Bagla Kandi to Patli marg, Prori to Rata Jabbar, Kotedhara to Kurhad, Ujhan-Darhal Kandi road and footbridge at Palma-Chowk.He asked the concerned departments to take up repair work for various bridges at Sora Gala, Retta Jamula, Ratla Kandi and motorable bridge on Peeri Nallah.The Minister said that upgradation and widening of Kotranka-Khwas road should be started soon.The meeting was attended by Chief Engineer PWD(R&B), Jammu Alok Mengi, Chief Engineer PMGSY, Jammu Naeem Ahmed, SE Rajouri-Poonch Circle PWD (R&B) Abdul Majeed Shabnam, SE PMGSY, Jammu-Poonch Circle Sitaram Dogra and others senior officers of PWD (R&B) and Forest Department.
