Chief of women's radical group detained in Srinagar

Asiya Andrabi, chief of women's radical group 'Dukhtaran-e-Milat' (Daughters of the Faith) was on Friday detained by the police in this Jammu and Kashmir summer capital.Police said Asiya Andrabi was picked up by a posse of policemen from her house in Soura locality."She has been lodged in the women's police station at Rambagh", a senior police officer told IANS.Asiya had called for a protest march on Friday against the killings of three youths, whose bullet-ridden bodies were found on Monday from an apple orchard in Pattan area of Kashmir's Baramulla district.Police have lodged many FIRs in the past against Asiya on charges of displaying a Pakistani flag and stoking anti-national feelings.
