Roma Wani calls on Governor N.N. Vohra

Roma Wani, Honorary General Secretary, Indian Red Cross Society (IRCS)-J&K, today called on Governor N.N. Vohra, who is the President of the IRCS-J&K, here at Raj Bhavan.Wani briefed the Governor about the district-wise activities of the IRCS in the State and stated that the Society has been making continuing efforts to induct an increasing number of volunteers to enable this organization to play a fruitful role.The Governor stressed the need for training the volunteers to remain in a state of ever readiness to deal with any arising emergency and for the Society to carry out meaningful activities throughout the year, including the mobilization of voluntary donations.
