Virbhadra Singh releases Dr. Kanwar Dinesh Singh’s book of couplets

Chief Minister Virbhadra Singh today released a book titled ‘Doha Vallari’, a vine of couplets in Hindi authored by bi-lingual writer and poet Dr. Kanwar Dinesh Singh.This book is Dr. Singh’s ninth volume of Hindi verse in which he has presented modern experiments with attention for the norms of the metre in ‘Doha’ (couplet).  He evokes deep feelings and thoughts through powerful images and symbols on a variety of themes including nature, love, ethics, society, life, existence, mysticism and spirituality.The Chief Minister lauded the creativity of the poet and hoped that the readers and lovers of verse would enjoy the ‘Dohas’.Himachal Academy Award winner Dr. Singh hails from Dhami in Shimla district and is presently working as Associate Professor of English in government college, Arki.
