Senior Congress leader Prof. Saifuddin Soz has supported his party colleague Mani Shankar Ayar’s idea that there was a need to have an uninterrupted and uninterruptible composite dialogue with Pakistan.“I see reason to support Mani Shankar Ayar’s idea that there is need to have an uninterrupted and uninterruptible composite dialogue with Pakistan,” Soz said in a statement issued to KNS today.“It has to be realized by all actors in the field, that neighbourhood cannot be changed and India and Pakistan have to live together. Now, it is a better proposition to endeavour to carve-out a situation of hope and fulfillment between the two countries and that can be done through dialogue alone,” he said.

Soz, whi is also a former Union minister, said that he was in agreement with Ayar s that Pakistan should accept that its soil is being used for promotion of terrorism, and that India should accept the fact that Pakistan too is a victim of terrorism.“I further support Mani Shankar Ayar’s optimism that it is not difficult to sort-out issues with Pakistan, if both Governments have the will to do so. I have convinced myself that the general run of the people on both sides have yearnings for a peaceful and dignified life,” Soz added.“I may also mention that Khurshid Mahmud Kasuri Former Foreign Minister of Pakistan expressed the same ideas while his book “Neither A Hawk Nor A Dove” was being released at the function held in Lahore,” said Soz.
