ADCP Elanchezhian to continue in SIT for kidney scam probe -Sukhbir Singh Badal

Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police Mr J. Elanchezhian will remain in Jalandhar to probe the kidney scam as a SIT member.Disclosing this Punjab Deputy Chief Minister Mr Sukhbir Singh Badal said ADCP J. Elanchezhian has been attached with Commissioner of Police Jalandhar and will be a part of the SIT comprising ADCP headquarters Alka Meena, ADCP-II Amrik Singh Powar and SHO Navdeep Singh till the completion of investigations of this racket.The Deputy CM said that ADCP Elanchezhian would ensure proper investigations of this case and ensure it reaches logical conclusion. It may be mentioned here that SIT had already booked a doctor couple who own the city-based National Kidney Hospital Dr Rajesh Aggarwal and his wife Deepa Aggarwal, under sections 18, 19 and 20 of the Human Organs Transplantation (Amendment) Act, 1994 over violations of norms.
