B R Sharma takes over as JK Chief Secretary

B R Sharma today took over as the Chief Secretary of Jammu and Kashmir.Mr. Sharma a senior IAS officer was today appointed Chief Secretary by the Cabinet which met under the Chairmanship of Chief Minister, Mufti Mohammad Sayeed.Administrative secretaries, senior officers and secretariat employees met and congratulated Mr. Sharma on assuming office of the Chief Secretary of the State.Mr Sharma has held various important positions in the State Administration including Principal Secretary Home, Principal Secretary Planning and Development Department, Chief Electoral Officer, J&K, Chief Executive Officer, Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine Board, Divisional Commissioner, Jammu, Deputy Commissioner Kathua, Deputy Commissioner, Kupwara, Director School Education, Jammu and Excise Commissioner besides various other positions.
