Chief Minister meets Unaites at Delhi

Chief Minister Shri Virbhadra Singh along-with Industries and Information & Public Relations Minister, Shri Mukesh Agnihotri today met the people of Una residing in Delhi at Una Enclave and interacted with them besides, listening to their grievances. Chief Minister told them that various development schemes were being implemented in Una and the State Government had started work on fourth phase of Swan River Channelization by spending Rs. 922 crore. Shri Mukesh Agnihotri who represents the Haroli constituency of district Una said that Swan Channelization would benefit all the people of the area by reclaiming agriculture land. He said that Rs. 122 crore had been sanctioned by Government of India for opening Indian Institute of Information Technology (IIIT) at Saloh village in Haroli and classes would be started from next academic session. He said that roads were being given utmost priority in the district and 33/11 KV Electricity Sub Station would be set up at Gondpur-Bulla Gram Panchayat in Haroli development Block to be constructed at a cost of Rs. eight crore.
