Seven policemen were shot dead by unidentified gunmen in Afghanistan's Helmand province on Thursday, officials said."Unidentified armed men shot dead and killed seven police personnel at a checkpoint in Bartaqi area of Garmsir district," district police chief told Xinhua news agency.Investigation has been initiated into the case, he said.
