Punjab Revenue and Public Relations Minister Bikram Singh Majithia today launched a scathing attack on Aam Aadmi Party and Congress and said the both AAP and Congress have collapsed in the state like pack of cards with infighting intensifying in both parties for crumbs of power and position.While distributing grants here for development projects in villages including Kajikot and Mehmoodpura, the Revenue Minister talking to media persons said it was matter of concern that AAP and Congress has nothing to do with the core issues pertaining to common masses but they were busy infighting and mudslinging. He said that it was the fact that AAP has never been out of controversy from the day it started political activities. He said that now controversies have become the second name of AAP since the leaders of this 'so called' political outfit of common masses has betrayed the people of Punjab. Mr. Majithia said that the Member Parliament of AAP has locked horns with each other over the issue of leadership while in Delhi the Law Minister has been booked over fake certificate issue. He said it was very unfortunate that these things were happening in the party, which was always talked about ethics and principles. Accusing AAP for difference of world between what Kejriwal had said and what he did, Mr. Majithia said that SAD-BJP rule never betrayed the people of Punjab and fulfilled their aspirations by completing the promises made during polls. He said that Congress has a long political history and it ruled the nation more than 5 decades but it did nothing for countrymen and Punjabis but now the SAD-BJP rule in Punjab and NDA at Center was leaving no stone unturned for unprecedented development in Punjab.
Lashing out at PPCC Chief Mr. Partap Singh Bajwa for his dance for power and position, he said that PPCC president who could not secure his base in his own constituencies was dreaming to capture power in the state. He said that both Congress leaders namely Mr. Bajwa and Captain always dreamt about chair and it seems that the Chair would remain lifelong mirage for them.Mr. Majithia said that the SAD-BJP will contest elections on its foremost agenda of Development. He said that Punjab has witnessed massive development during last 8 years and this pace will get further acceleration in time to come.
Announcing that Punjab Government is going to provide 1.5 lakh tube well connections, the Minister said that the state will soon start the release of tube well connections, which had been applied long time back. He said that Punjab government was also contemplating to start receiving of fresh applications for new tube well connections and the decision in this regard will be taken soon.
