Various deputations today called on Minister of State for Finance and Information Technology, Pawan Gupta, and projected their demands.A deputation of inhabitants of village Tirshi Narore led by Rattan Lal, Sarpanch called on Minister and conveyed their sincere gratitude for expediting the restoration of the village road within a short period.Another deputation of people hailing from Rathian East led by Gurdyal Khajuria and Jeet Khajuria projected the demand for macadamization of the local road. They also brought into the notice of the Minister the problem of acute shortage of drinking water in the area.
The Minister assured the people that their issues would be looked into.Gupta said that improvement of power scenario, drinking water supply, road connectivity and education facility were the Government’s top priorities. He added that the Government is committed to overall development of rural areas and to provide all basic facilities to the people at their doorsteps.Sarpanchs, panchs and a large number of people were also present on the occasion.
