Minister for Rural Development and Panchayati Raj, Abdul Haq Monday visited Lolab constituency and inspected various ongoing development projects.The Minister accompanied by District Development Commissioner, Kupwara, Mr. K. R. Ranjan inaugurated J&K Bank branch in Kulgam (Lolab) which was a long pending demand of the people of the area.At Maidanpora, the Minister provided an ambulance for NTPH. The health officers and locals were present on the occasion. He also visited Government Higher Secondary School Maidanpora and addressed the students, staff members and highlighted the progress achieved by the present government in the said constituency.The Minister also inaugurated bore wells at Patoshahie Zangli which were the dire need of the locals. He also inspected various ongoing developmental projects in the area.The Minister was briefed by the concerned executing agencies about the status of the ongoing projects in Lolab Constituency. The Minister asked the concerned to complete the projects within the stipulated time so that locals are able to avail the facilities from such projects.
