Ahead of Bharatiya Janata Party’s (BJP), prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi’s, ‘Lalkaar Rally’ on December 1 in Jammu, several Congress leaders and supporters from Gandhi Nagar assembly constituency today joined the party.BJP National Executive Member, Leader of the Legislative Party and MLA Jammu East Ashok Khajuria welcomed these leaders and supporters to the party fold at a function held at Narwal, which was also attended by local senior party leader Ch Vikram Randhawa.Speaking on the occasion, Ashok Khajuria congratulated the new entrant and said they made a very important decision by leaving the Congress party on very crucial time..Informing about Modi’s ‘Lalkar Rally’ in t the city of temples on December 1, Khajuria said that, modi will expose the Congress-led UPA and the state's NC-Congress coalition for their mis-governance, policy of appeasement, corruption, promotion of dynastic rule and failure to check price rise in the rally.
He said that a sense of insecurity among citizens, plight of the border people and refugees are the burning issues which should have been on the top agenda of the central as well as state government but unfortunately no one as shown any concern towards them.He said while the Congress and NC lack any vision and commitment towards the people, their welfare and development, a leader like Narendra Modi has proved to be more visionary, more-people friendly and a man committed to development and honour of the country.
Speaking on the occasion, Vikram Randawa said that with the joning of Congress workers it will prove that staunch supporters of Congress are also now saying that Modi need to be brought as Prime Minister for the nation and its suffering people.He appealed the new entrant to strat working on ground and put more efforts to make public aware about the significance of the rally.Those who joined the party were Bajdev Raj and his hundreds of supporters from Gandhi Nagar Constituency.Rajeev Charak, Jai Deep Sharma. Baldev Raj Baloria, Vinay Gupta, Arun Khosla, Surinder , Sat Pal Choudary, Vivek Patyal, Anil Gupta were prominent among those who also addressed the gathering.
