Congress Party has always worked for equitable development of the State and people of all the three regions. Any move to disturb the secular fabric of the State would be dealt sternly.  PDP and BJP are playing with sentiments of the people for their vested interests; Congress being a constructive opposition would fight for people’s rights to the best of its ability. JK PCC Chief said this while addressing a public meeting at Anantnag Sunday.In a statement to KNS, PCC Chief while addressing the meeting said that Congress Party is strong enough to face any challenge and would always work for safeguarding the interests of the people, the politics of exploitation by Coalition Partners are aiming to gain political mileage, he cautioned the people and other secular forces to defeat them, he said.

PCC Chief said that Congress Party has always taken care about aspirations of the people of all regions, he expressed confidence that people believe that it was the only Congress Party in the State, which has always spoken in one voice and has always worked about the development and welfare of the people keeping aside their (people’s) religion, region, caste or political affiliations etc, he said.PCC Chief said Congress Party being a Constructive Opposition in the State would continue to raise its voice against anti people policies of the Coalition Govt and would fight for resolution of issues confronting people, he said.

Blaming present coalition Govt for ignoring issues confronting people on political basis, JK PCC Chief said that   both  PDP BJP are losing the ground fast and the day is not far when both PDP and BJP would be wiped out from the State.PCC chief accused the Coalition Govt for being bias and not fulfilling the promises made with the people, he said both PDP and BJP have failed on all fronts.Hitting out at Centre Govt for its weak foreign policy PCC Chief said NDA Govt led by Narinder Modi is very much confused on certain issues and are not able to make decisions. He said one man show at Centre is going to haunt the Foreign policy of the Nation, he cautioned.

Addressing the gathering Former PCC President Peerzada Mohd Syed told the people that Congress with a history 130 years in service of people would defeat those forces whole are hell bent upon to divide on regional basis. Any move disturb the Secular Identity of the state would be dealt sternly. He on this occasion he (Peerzada) urged the party workers to remain steadfast in serving the people to the best of their ability.Those who addressed the gathering included Vice President Mohd Anwar Bhat MLA Gulzar Ahmad Wani, Spokes Person Farooq Andrabi Hilal Ahmad Shah, Surinder Singh Channi General Secretaries, District Presidents Anayatullah Rather, Gulam Mohd Mir, Ab.
