The Minister for Industries and Commerce Chander Parkash on Saturday chaired a high level meeting to review the law and order situation in Samba.The meeting was attended by Divisional Commissioner, Jammu Dr. Pawan Kotwal,   IGP Jammu   Danish Rana,   DC  Samba, Sheetal Nanda, SP Samba  Joginder Singh and other officers.Later talking to media, the Minister appreciated the efforts of District administration in handling the recent incidents at Samba and expressed satisfaction over normalizing of situation.

He said that certain incidents were exaggerated and blown out of proportion. He cautioned people and asked them to be aware of the nefarious elements that hatched a well planned conspiracy to exploit religious sentiments. He appealed all to maintain peace, harmony and brotherhood in Samba.Ganga said that government will not sit silent and guilty will be punished. He instructed the District administration and Police to find the root cause of conspiracy so that people behind these incidents are brought to justice. He emphasized on Police and District Administration to make sure that no innocent person is booked.
