Minister of State for Health and Social Welfare Mtr. Asiya Naqash accompanied by Divisional Commissioner, Kashmir Dr. Asgar Samoon and Chief Medical Officer, Srinagar visited urban primary health centre, Lasjan and took stock of medical facilities being provided to the patients. She also interacted with the patients there.Mtr. Naqash inspected the latest machinery which has been donated by a newspaper group.On the occasion, the Minister said that doctors played a vital role in providing better health facilities during the last year’s floods. She said that government is mulling to fill up the posts of medical officers and para medical staff on fast track basis so that the dearth of the staff in medical institutions could be fulfilled.
