While Speaking in the occasion M.P Shri Shamsher sing Manhas said that the membership drive for the party was started three months ago in the entire state of the J&K and party received huge and overwhelming response for this membership drives and today BJP is the largest party in the state with more than 10 lack members from all sections across the state which is the great achievement and shows the kind of confidence respected citizens of J&K have on BJP led by P.M Shri Narendra Modi Ji in the centre and the Govt of J&K where BJP is the coalitions partner this membership drive.Mnahas added that Looking the aspirations of the J&K and the country the second phase of this series was started by the name Maha Sampark Abhiyan in which all the members who have enrolled themselves this BJP were to be contacted personally by the party leaders in the state so as to understand their genuine problems, could talk to them and also explain the various schemes of the govt of India .
This Maha Sampark Abhiyan was a way towards propagating the working of the govt and factually understanding the ground realities this initiative of the BJP has been appreciated across the country and particularity in the J&K State.State spokesperson Arun Gupta on this occasion said that In above series the third phase was Pt.Deen Dayal updhyaya Parshikshan Mahabhiyan were organized starting from senior leaders at centre level getting properly trained so as to ensure that the party activist and leaders are propagated briefed and trained on the policies of the BJP and how these policies could benefit the citizens of the country this Parshikshan Abhiyan was conducted by the centre leaders for the states including J&K. the state leaders were trained to further train the district level office bearers and leaders which further would go down to the constituency level in next phase.
Khalid Jehangir , State spokesperson spoke about challenges the country is facing from the neighbors and issues related to Internal and external issues .On this occasion Ramesh Arora said that This way the centre leadership of the BJP started the full fledged exercise right form Membership drive to Sampark Abhiyan and finally to Maha Abhiyan slowly with a aim that govt of India is taking out many schemes for the welfare of the citizens of the country and it is very imp leadership of the party whether centre or state or at district level should be able to serve the respected citizens of the country in the right earnest and benefits should percolate down for which the govt of India is very serious.Shri Ashok Koul ( General Secretary organization) spoke about the history of the party and asked the BJP Kashmir cadre to gear up their political activities as people here are aspiring for change , which only BJP has the vision to deliver.
