Punjab Revenue & Information and Public Relations minister Bikram Singh Majithia has said that Congress leader Mr Jagmeet Singh Brar is a non issue for the Shiromani Akali Dal as he has "resurfaced" after a one year long "leave". Mr Majithia said that the Congress party is already on the ventilator of an ICU and that Brar's inclusion in the party would not have any effect as he is a non issue now.Majithia was visiting villages Talwandi Khumman, Mugosohi, Rangeelpura, Thariewal, Marri Khurd and Dyalgarh. Here, he laid foundation stones of several development projects. While commenting on Brar's illogical comments on the Badal family and Shiromani Akali Dal, Mr Majithia said that its funny that people like Jagmeet Brar are talking of Inqlaab. He said that Brar is the same person who raised questions over the leadership of Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi, "but I wonder what forced the Congress to induct him back to their fold," he quipped.

Taking aim at Congress, he suggested Sonia Gandhi to provide an ambulance for the party in state as all leaders are busy fighting amongst themselves for their own personal gains. He said that this could be known from the fact that the Congress party is setting up two different stages on the occasion of Rakhar Punya at Baba Bakala. He said that under the able leadership of S. Parkash Singh Badal and S. Sukhbir Singh Badal, main aim of the Punjab government is overall development of the state. He informed that S. Sukhbir Singh Badal is to announce a special Rs 250 crore package for the Majha region, after which all roads leading to the Dera's would be recarpeted.Prominent among those present on the occasion included Talbir Singh Gill, Major Shivi, Jail Singh Gopal Pura, Media Advisor Prof Sarchand Singh, besides several others.
