MLA Langate and president Awami Ittihaad Party (AIP) Er Rasheed today visited Tral to offer solidarity with the family of injured teacher Daljeet Singh, who was critically injured in “police brutality” at Lal Chowk Srinagar few days before.Rasheed offered financial assistance to the family of the injured teacher for his treatment out of Joint Effort Trust (JET) and assured family of best possible treatment for the injured teacher who is currently battling for his life in AIIMS in Delhi.While interacting with local community in presence of representatives of teachers on the occasion Rasheed termed Nayeem Akhtar’s orders “unacceptable and illogical.”He assured of his full support to fight the autocratic attitude of the government. Er Rasheed said. “While government has every right to fix a criteria to check the efficiency of its employees but it can’t set up selective humiliating procedures.
Let Education minister not forget that he is himself not a public representative but has made it through the back doors of Legislative Council which has become a rehabilitation centre for failed and rejected politicians. If Mufti Sahib sincerely wants to change things at grass root level let him abolish Legislative Council, put corrupt politicians to jail, send bad reputed and corrupt bureaucrats back home and ensure that MLAs, ministers and all govt. employees are bound to enrol their children in govt. schools.”Rasheed claimed that there seems to be a great resemblance between the unethical and imaginary plans of late Mohammad Tagaluq and those of our education minister. He assured the representatives of ReT forum of his full support to force govt. to revoke the draconian orders.
