Hundreds Children’s Participated in North Kashmir Mega Talent Hunt Competition

As a prelude to the Mega Final Hunt Competition to be held at Headquarters 15 Corps, later this month, a Talent Hunt Competition was organized at Headquarters 10 Sector Rashtriya Rifles, hayderbeigh Pattan under the aegis of CIF (Kilo), Sharifabad . Where talents from important centers of North Kashmir came under one roof to showcase their talents in the fields of Art and Culture. There were a total twenty participants who were judged by an eminent group of jury. The outstanding performers will now have an opportunity to exhibit this talent at a bigger platform at BB Cantt scheduled later this month.The Chief Guest on the occasion was Maj General Asit Mistry, SM, VSM, General Officer Commanding, CIF (Kilo) along with his lady Mrs. Minaxi Mistry.Commander 10Sector Alok Naresh they and the audience appreciated the talents which were no less than the other and who with time and dedication will only grow. 

They also interacted and appreciated all the participants of Project Kkhushi and initiative which was started at Vocational Training Centre (VTC) at Widdipura, Pattan on 09 Jun 2015 to train local young boys and girls in the various fields of skill development. 21 children from Widdipura have been undergoing Computer Basic Course, 20 girls and ladies from Hanjiwiura are being trained at the village Panchayat Ghar, Science Coaching classes to 11 local students of standard 11th & 12th and last but not the least 23 local volunteers who were trained under the aegis of State Horticulture Department, Sopore in Food Processing and Canning namely Jam, Pickle & Purie making.The GOC and the lady gave a pat to all the participants and wished them all the success in future. They were assured that in future too the Army will act as a medium to recognize, support and reward worthy talents from the Valley. All the participants were presented with a token of appreciated and the outstanding amongst them were suitability rewarded. Refreshments and lunch were provided to all who attended this magnificent and colourful event. On The occasion Commander 10 Sector Alok Naresh, Commanding officer 29RR Abishek Tripathi,CO 2RR and 2ic lt.Col Rahul Was also Present on the occasion.
