In connection with the construction of Red Cross Bhawan in Srinagar, a meeting was held here under the chairmanship of the Divisional Commissioner, Kashmir, Dr. Asgar Samoon here today. The meeting was attended by the Deputy Commissioner Srinagar, Chief Engineer PWD Kashmir and other officers.
It was informed that Rs. 1 crore shall be provided by the PWD, Kashmir for construction of Red Cross Bhawan in Srinagar.The Divisional Commissioner also held a video conference with all Deputy Commissioners of valley for the purpose. He urged Deputy Commissioner to ensure collection of Red Cross Fund with Deputy Commissioner Anantnag agreeing to pay Rs. 10 lakh as Red Cross Fund for construction work of the said building.
